We're excited to announce the expansion of our interview question repertoire, enhancing your candidate assessment experience:

STAR methodology question type: This means that 'Chatty' will ask questions in a way that aligns with STAR methodology and it will probe the candidate to give details about the Situation, Task, Action and Result related to the question.  This approach is ideal for a nuanced evaluation of a candidate's experience and problem-solving skills.

General Questions: For a simpler, more straightforward insight into your candidates. The interviewer will not dig deep when asking simple questions.

Now you can also add evaluation instructions. With this, we are giving you more power. But be aware that this will override our advanced evaluation models designed to evaluate the candidates' answers.
This is great when you know exactly what you are looking for or what are the deal breakers.
For example, you can say:
Give a rating of 10 if the candidate answers that he is willing to travel for work.
Give great ratings to candidates who know more than 3 programming languages.
Give the candidate a rating of 0 if he hasn't contributed to the open-source community.

Now we have made a lot of changes under the hood. You may not even notice now, but we have spent a lot of time and effort on upgrading our candidate evaluations and improving the conversation. 

We believe the quality of the interview and the accuracy of the evaluation are paramount in fostering a fair and rigorous selection process

We have implemented adaptable questions to make it even easier to create interviews especially when you have a set of questions that you like to ask in every interview.

What do they do?
They are designed to be adaptable to the job description.
A generic question like: "What are you passionate about?"
adapted to the job "Ruby on Rails job" description would
become "What sparked your passion to become a Ruby on Rails developer?"

When to use it?
- When you want to create a template of standard questions that you want to be asked every time, but you don't want to write it every single time.
- When you want your team to stick to some main questions, but also leave room for creativity

Benefit?
Using templates with adaptable questions gives you the control to ensure that some questions are asked always the way you want them to be asked and with some questions we allow AI to get a bit creative and help out.

How to use them?
When you create a job with an assessment kit you can adapt the assessment kit questions to the new job description when you click the button:

Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce that Dutch language functionality has been rolled out system-wide. This means that interviews can now be conducted in Dutch, providing even greater accessibility and convenience for our users.

Opwindend nieuws! We zijn verheugd te kunnen aankondigen dat de functionaliteit voor de Nederlandse taal systeembreed is uitgerold. Dit betekent dat interviews nu in het Nederlands kunnen worden afgenomen, wat voor nog meer toegankelijkheid en gemak voor onze gebruikers zorgt.

We have a new feature that lets you choose your favourite language so that the system will use that language instead of English. It will also make sure to create jobs and assessments in your preferred language if a language is not specified.

Sometimes it's difficult to decide which candidate to invite for an interview first, so we have created a candidate comparison view. It's a super simple way to visualise and compare the top picks.

We know that not all questions have been created equal. Some matter more than others. 
We have added weights to questions, so that you could define how important they are and how they will count towards the grading of the candidate. 

Each question can be assigned with a weight value from 0 to 10. The points that each question is awarded is also 1-10 are multiplied by its weight. The sum of the recalculated question points is then divided by the sum of all question weights to give us the final grade:

Grade = (Q1×W1 + Q2×W2 + Q3×W3) / (W1 + W2 + W3)

These grades are used to order the candidates from best to worst so that you can save time and prioritise the best oportunities.

We know that coming up with the perfect requirements and questions for a job candidate can be hard. So our forms will provide you with the top 10 soft skills, hard skills and experiences for any position. On top of that, once you narrow down the most necessary skills and experiences you are looking for, we will generate the best behavioural questions to examine those skills and experiences.

Now people can do interviews via WhatsApp! It's a very familiar interface and it's like talking to a friend. More than 2 billion people are using WhatsApp and can be reached without a browser.
We are also leveraging the great infrastructure of WhatsApp which allows us to easily communicate with voice, video and text. 

We tried to keep everything super simple, for now, it's just a very basic form for both the candidate and the job. But don't be fooled by the simplicity, a lot of generating is happening behind the scenes to create well-rounded interviews

We're excited to share some great news based on popular demand! We've gone ahead and added webhooks to our system. This means that once a survey is finished, your systems can now receive handy notifications containing all the juicy results. This nifty feature empowers you to streamline and automate processes on your end, making things even more convenient.

This will sound odd, but we have only now figured out how to simplify survey template creation. We have been doing it for clients manually so far because it was rather complicated to address every case. This may seem simple, but in the background, when a survey template is created, many things happen and AI generates quite a few settings.
But now you have this button:

Sticking with the conversational format, we have developed a form that should flow like a conversation, you just need to select or add to fill out the spaces within the sentence. Reminds me of exercises I had to do in Spanish language books. I hope this will be an easy one for everyone. Now after you fill out thenew survey template you will be redirected to survey objectives.

On this page you will find some AI-generated survey objectives that you can edit, rearrange, add new ones or delete them. These Objectives will be followed during the conversation and AI will try to reach them all.

Another cool thing that we added is information to extract from conversations.
Now people often have hundreds of surveys completed and to make it easier to extract valuable information we added a page where you can select what the AI should extract.

Afterwards, you can reuse these templates as many times as you want.
